Sumatra Kerinci Solok Radjo Wet Hulled
Sumatra Kerinci Solok Radjo Wet Hulled
This coffee is an example of a classic Sumatran cup. Bright citrus sparkles throughout a full, syrupy body, with the savory aroma of baking spices greeting your senses. While we love producer Solok Radjo for his experimentation, we were drawn to this coffee for its exemplary adherence to the beloved Sumatran profile—clean, balanced, and warming with brightness peeking through.

Our Growers
Kerinci is relatively new to coffee production, but a region to watch. Investing heavily in post harvest processing, producers like Solok Radjo are mastering traditional crafts like wet-hulling. This treatment is incredibly challenging since there is a large margin for error (and mold), but when executed with meticulous care, we see bright notes complementing earthy flavors in a clean cup.

Roasting Profile
Small Batch Coffee, Fresh-Roasted Daily to Order
We employ the Japanese notion of Kaizen in our roasting practice. This idea of “good change” or “continuous improvement” drives our team to keep daily records of their tastings, always chasing better, more delicious, more consistent coffees.
We roast small batches on Loring machines around the world, so our coffee tastes not only luminous, but reliably consistent, from Tokyo to New York.
